Onde o nosso triunfo começa? - Where our triumph begins?

No começo, Deus deu apenas um mandamento aos Seus filhos: “nao coma da arvore do conhecimento do bem e do mal”. Como nos lemos na postagem anterior, Adao e Eva nao foram capazes de obedecer aquele um mandamento. Deus sabia que eles comeriam do fruto? A resposta e SIM, Ele sabia! Deus e onisciente, o que significa que Ele sabe de todas as coisas. Bem, se Deus sabia que eles iriam comer do fruto, por que ele colocou a arvore no jardim? A verdade e: Nao nunca seremos livres ate que sejamos livres para cometer erros. Se Deus os tivesse colocado em um ambiente completamente isento de escolhas, eles nao seriam verdadeiramente livres.

In the beginning, God gave only one commandment to His children: “do not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil”. As we read on the previous post, Adam and Eve were not able to obey that one. Did God know they would eat the fruit? The answer is YES, He knew! God is omniscient, which means that He knows all things. Well, if God knew they would eat the fruit, why did He put the tree in the garden? The truth is: we are never free until we are free to fail. If God had placed them in an environment in which there were no choices to be made, they would not have been truly free. 

Pela primeira vez, eles perceberam sua nudez e eles usaram folhas para se cobrir (Genesis 3:7). Todavia, a habilidade deles em fazer roupas nao foi capaz de cobrir a vergonha deles; o Pai interviu, e providenciou vestimentas, feitas com pele de animal. Com esse ato, Deus estava demonstrando que, para cobrir o pecado, uma troca teria que ser feita: eles receberam a vida que pertencia a outro, enquanto um animal inocente recebia a morte que pertencia a eles.

For the first time, they realized their nakedness and they used leaves to cover their bodies (Genesis 3:7). However, their own ability in making garments wasn’t capable of covering their shame; the Father had to intervene and provide them with coats, made of animal skin. With that act, God was demonstrating that, to cover their sin, an exchange had to be made: they received another’s life, while the innocent animal received their death.

O ato de desobediencia fez com que eles fossem expulsos do jardim. Desde entao, todos nós nos esforçariamos para conquistar de volta nossa identidade; aquela certeza de que somos aceitos e amados. A imagem perfeita de Deus foi completamente destruida, e o PECADO trouxe desassossego as suas vidas.

Their act of disobedience drove them out of the garden. From that moment forward, all of us would strive to get his identity back; that sense of belonging and the assurance of being loved. The perfect image of God was ripped apart, and SIN brought unrest to their lives.

Todavia, Deus ja havia um plano para essa situaçao. O Pai nao poderia suportar a distancia que havia entre Ele e seus filho. Mesmo sendo um erro deles, Deus nao abriria mao assim tao facil. Ele sentia saudades de todos os bons momentos eles passaram juntos no jardim. Deus faria de tudo para permitir que eles tivessem novo acesso a aquele lugar de seguranca, intimidade e de descanso!

Nonetheless, God had already made provision for that. The Father could not bear the distance from his kids. Even though it was their mistake, God would not let it go so easily. He missed all the good time they had together in the garden. God would do anything to allow them back into that secure, intimate and restful place!

Apocalipse 13:8 revela que o maravilhoso plano de salvaçao de Deus começou durante a criaçao do mundo: “O Cordeiro que foi morto desde a fundação do mundo”.

Mesmo antes do pecado existir, a provisao ja havia sido criada: Jesus, O Cordeiro de Deus, morreria e nos salvaria dos nossos pecados.

Revelations 13:8 reveals that God’s amazing plan of salvation was set in motion while the world was being made: “(…) the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”. Even before there was sin, the provision was already made: Jesus, the Lamb of God, would die and save us from our sins.

Voce acredita que o que voce fez e imperdoavel? Voce acredita que Deus esta furioso com voce, haja vista as doenças e provaçoes que voce ou os seus familiars estao passando? Voce esta sofrendo com pensamentos de condenaçao por aquilo que voce fez? A sua consciencia esta te acusando agora? Nos temos o instinto de correr para longe de Deus quando fazemos algo errado (como Adao e Eva fizeram – Genesis 3:10). No entanto, eu gostaria de te falar esta verdade: Deus estara sempre “procurando” por voce, porque voce e Seu filho(a) amado (a)!

Do you believe what you have done is unforgivable? Do you believe that God is mad at you, hence the sickness and distress you or your loved one are going through? Are you suffering with thoughts of condemnation for what you have done? Is your conscience accusing you right now? We tend to run away from God when we do wrong (Just as Adam and Eve did – Genesis 3:10). However, I would like to tell you this truth: God will always be “looking” for you, because you are his beloved child!

Quando nos fazemos algo errado, como um cristao pertencente ao Novo Testamento, nos devemos correr para Deus e nao de Deus. Ele nos abraçara com Seu amor, e nos mostrara quao aceitos e justificados nos somos atraves do Sangue de Jesus! Esse Sangue Precioso comprou para nos o direito de PERMANECER na presence de Deus agora ate a eternidade! O que significa que nosso lugar de intimidade e descanso NUNCA sera tirado de nos! A cruz e o lugar onde começamos a Viver em Triunfo !

When we do something wrong, as a New Testament believer, we should run to God and not from God. He will embrace us with His love, and He will show us how accepted and righteous we are; all through the Blood of Jesus! This Precious Blood bought us the right to STAY in God’s presence, now and for eternity! Which means that our place of intimacy and rest will NEVER be taken away from us! The cross is the very place where we begin to Live in Triumph!

Voce nao deve pensar, nem por um Segundo, que o seu Pai celestial esta te punindo com tribulaçoes. Esse tipo de ensinamento tem sido pregado dia apos dia em algumas igrejas. A razao disso e que algumas pessoas nao sabem interpretar o conteudo da Biblia atraves das “lentes” do Novo Testamento. Como o Pastor Prince diz: “No Velho Testamento, o Novo Testamento esta escondido. No Novo Testamento, o Velho Testamento e revelado”.

You shouldn’t think, for one moment, that your Heavenly Father is punishing you with a hard time. This has been the teaching that is going on and on in same churches. The reason for that is because people fail to read the entire Bible through the “lenses” of the New Testament. As Pastor Prince says: “In the Old Testament, the New Testament is concealed. In the New Testament, the Old Testament is revealed”.
